Job Summary: The Senior Program Administrator (SPA) - 24-hour on call; will directly supervise the Residential Services Program Administrators overseeing 12 programs.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree is required or three or more years experience working in a residential facility for people with developmental disabilities, 4 or more years of management supervisory experience required; thorough knowledge of all DDD/CARF regulations; Strong management, leadership, planning and communication skills required.

Position: Systems Administrator
Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Technology, The Arc of Union County is seeking a part-time 20-25-hour per week Systems Administrator. This position will be responsible for providing scalable and reliable networking and server administration.
Qualifications: Must have working knowledge in Cisco networking hardware and high level server administration with the ability to maintain SAN Storage, Server 2008, Exchange 2010, SQL, Microsoft Hyper V Virtual Servers and database support. Daily activities will also include user support. Vehicle is required for this position and there is light daily travel. The candidate selected will need to pass an internal server knowledge test.

Position: Assistant Supervisor
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, this position assumes responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and of the residential program activities with particular emphasis on resident training, recreation and leisure activities, medical care and integration into the community. The Assistant Supervisor must participate in the training of staff members in the requirements of the skill instructor position and will have input to evaluations and corrective actions when required.
Qualifications: Some college education preferred, minimum of high-school education. One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting. A demonstrated ability to supervise staff, follow directives and take responsibility for the well-being of residents. Must have a valid New Jersey driver license and meet the agency insurability requirements.

Position: Skill Instructor
Job Summary: Reporting to the Program Supervisor or designate, this position is a direct care position focusing on improving the quality of life of our consumers. This is accomplished through the implementation and facilitation of behavioral/habilitation plans, teaching and monitoring skills development and providing support and mentoring for all consumers through a person centered approach.
Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus a valid, current New Jersey Driver License and meet agency insurability requirements. Must be 18 years of age. Some experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Must be able to successfully complete all required training programs and be able to follow directions and complete all assigned responsibilities.

Position: Program Supervisor
Job Summary: The Program Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and supervising the overall operations of the program to ensure that quality of service delivery is maintained, and that lines of communication among the families, staff and program managers are functional and positive. The Program Supervisor assures proper staffing, budget control and the completion of all required documentation related to the functioning of the home. The Supervisor assures appropriate staff interactions and support for all residents in the program. Some direct care involved.
Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation or a related Behavioral Science is preferred. Minimum one-year supervisory experience, plus three years working with people with developmental disabilities. Valid New Jersey driver's license required.
