Each year the Candlelight Ball recognizes and honors individuals and companies for their achievements and accomplishments. The Awards signify that with vision and commitment, and by working together, people from all walks of life can make a significant difference within their community.

48th Annual Candlelight Ball Awardees
Candlelight Ball Co-Chairs Judith A. Witterschein, manager of Cruz & Company and John Nietzel, Senior Vice President Business Banking, Investors have announced that during The Arc's 48th Annual Candlelight Ball on Saturday, March 31st three individuals and one corporation will be honored.
Brandon Clax, seven-year old resident of Union and current student at The Arc Kohler School will be recognized as the 2012 Ambassador of Goodwill
Alexis Sosinski, volunteer, resident of Scotch Plains, significant individual fundraiser for the Sixth Annual Step Up for The Arc 5K Walk/Run and family member will be receiving The Betty McGhee Spirit of the Arc.
Danfoss Hago, one of many companies in New Jersey which utilizes the Contract Services program offered through The Arc providing work to individuals with disabilities and will be recognized as the 2012 Community Corporate Champion.
Jeffrey Makow, resident of Plainfield will be recognized with the 2012 Florence M. Levine Achievement Award for his personal and social growth as he transitioned from an institutional setting to a residential program.
