Disability Awareness for Libraries

Library patrons with intellectual and developmental disabilities are entitled to the same access to and enjoyment of the resources and programs available at New Jersey's public libraries.

It is important that library, information and communications professionals become educated about ways in which they can support and enhance the inclusion of men, women and children with disabilities in the library experience. Below are some resources that may be helpful in accomplishing this:
