- Encourages free choice, decision making and
individuality for self-advocates
- Provides monthly forums for self-advocacy workshops
through monthly meetings in residential programs, day programs
and the evening advocates group meetings
- Hosts an annual conference for individuals
receiving services from The Arc of Union County and community
participants
- Participates in the self-advocacy forums
through the New Jersey Self Advocacy Project
