Children's Services - The Arc Kohler School

Arc Kohler SchoolLocated in Mountainside, The Arc Kohler School is approved by the NJ Department of Education (NJDOE) to provide private school education to qualified students (by referral). We serve students with developmental delays and disabilities ages 3 to 11 years of age, and are dedicated to educating every student to reach his or her full potential.

In a cheerful, state-of-the-art environment, we provide individualized education plans combining individual therapy, differentiated instruction, collaborative therapy, and skill-specific group and individual instruction. Full-time speech, physical and occupational therapists are available on-site.

We believe that children learn both inside and outside of the classroom. Our educational and therapeutic team partners with each student's family to develop an integrated plan to meet each child's unique needs. Read more about our curriculum and the collaborative model.

In addition to a full-day school program for students preschool through grade 5, we also offer on-site after-care and a seven-week extended school year program.
