Many opportunities await you with The Arc of Union County. We rely on many dedicated volunteers throughout the year to help provide services and supports to our consumers and to help in our fundraising efforts.

Programs

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities in programs serving individuals from infancy through senior years in many different settings. Opportunities and level of commitment varies depending upon the program.

Special Events

The Arc of Union County holds four major fundraising events each year, The Candlelight Ball, the Step up for The Arc walkathon, a Wine & Cheese Tasting, and the Tricky Tray.

To make each of these events successful, we need you! Your talents, some of your time, and your skills can help ensure an enjoyable and profitable event which directly benefits The Arc's programs and consumers. Please consider joining a committee, options include:

  • Soliciting donations
  • Organizing and wrapping baskets of items
  • Set-Up and Break-Down on day of event
  • Assist at Step Up for The Arc by helping with a family activity or by running a booth
